Data & Research Tools

Search the public record yourself

The City of Phoenix publishes its campaign finance reports and lobbyist filings one record at a time, and its council meetings as hours of video. We read them into tools you can search, and every figure links back to the City’s own record so you can check it.

Phoenix Campaign Finance Tracker

Who funds Phoenix city candidates and committees, read from the campaign finance reports filed with the City Clerk since 2007. Search a donor or an employer, see who they gave to, and follow every figure to the report it came from.

How to read these tools

Names, amounts and dates are shown as they were filed with the City. Where we match a name across records — a donor who shares a name with a lobbyist, or a name typed on a filing that we identify as a council member — the tool says so, and a possible match is a lead, not a finding.

The trackers leave out private donors’ street and email addresses. Those stay only in the City’s original report, which every row links to.
