Good Goat Farm / About Us

We are a small family run business selling very small quantities of goat milk. We have no goats for sale at this time.

For reference our Trading License is issued in Penampang ( No. Permohonan 7053/2010, M2483 Penampang ).

We supply goat's milk to supermarkets only. We do not sell milk directly from our farm because of poor road conditions.

Our farm is located 1000 ft above sea level near the ranger station overlooking Kg. Limbanak and the South China Sea in Penampang (near Donggongon). Due to elevation our farm is a few degrees cooler than the padi fields below. From our farm we can see Yayasan Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Peak Nam Toong, Penampang Bypass, KK Airport, Tanjung Aru, Putatan, and Mt. Kinabalu to the north east.

You can easily see our farm on the hillside if looking east from old Papar Rd. between Kg. Limbanak and Kg. Sugud. The area looks like a green cultivated area on the hillside with a few structures (goat sheds) nestled among native trees.

We are eco-friendly and we have left some portion of our farm with native trees. Our location is remote with poor road conditions and no public power supply and we have been using renewable energy since 2004. We use solar panels, a hydro turbine, and a backup generator for power. We are considering using goat waste to generate methane gas for cooking and additional power.

We have a "closed herd policy" and do not introduce new goats or allow visitors to our herd for bio-security reasons, the road is poorly maintained and there is no building near the road for sales.
